How to make Yogurt Cake

Who says you need complicated and high-calorie ingredients for a delicious cake? Today, I’ll show you how to make a healthy yogurt cake without sugar, butter, oil, or milk, using only three simple ingredients. You don’t need to go to a nearby restaurant or nearby food place. Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 400 grams unsweetened plain yogurt (14.1 oz)
  • 40 grams cornstarch (1.4 oz)

Directions:

Initial Mixture: First, place the yogurt in a bowl. Add the eggs and mix well with a whisk until you achieve a smooth and uniform texture.

Incorporating the Starch: Then, gradually add the cornstarch to the mixture, ensuring it is fully incorporated with the other ingredients.

Preparing the Pan: Lightly moisten a 16-centimeter round pan with a few drops of water, and then line it with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the prepared glass pan.

Baking: Next, bake in a preheated oven at 356 °F (180 °C) for 50 to 60 minutes. After baking, allow the cake to cool completely, unmold, and serve.

Tips to Customize Your Cake:

  • Additional Flavor: For a special touch, lastly, add lemon zest or vanilla extract to the mixture before baking.
  • Substitutions: If you don’t have cornstarch, feel free to use wheat flour, almond flour, or coconut flour in the same proportion.
  • Sweetening: If using plain yogurt, add 3 tablespoons of honey, agave syrup, or stevia according to your preference.
  • Variations: Finally, try incorporating fresh fruits like bananas or strawberries, or even pieces of chocolate and nuts for a new experience each time.
