How to make Simple Carrot Cake

Ingredients:
- 1 large carrot, grated
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of sugar (200 grams / 7 oz)
- ½ cup of milk (120 ml / 4 oz)
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder (12 grams / 0.4 oz)
- ¼ cup of vegetable oil (60 ml / 2 oz)
- 1 + ½ cups of all-purpose flour (180 grams / 6.3 oz)
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and grated carrot. Mix until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
Gradually add the flour and baking powder. Stir gently just until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
Grease a cake pan with butter and lightly dust it with flour. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Once cool, remove it from the pan, slice, and serve as a perfect treat for breakfast or afternoon tea.
