- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar (200g / 7 oz)
- ½ cup oil (120ml / 100g melted butter – 3.5 oz)
- 1 cup milk (240ml / 8 oz)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour/wheat flour (120g / 4.2 oz)
- 1 cup cornstarch (130g / 4.6 oz)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder (12g / 0.4 oz)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a cake pan. Blend the wet ingredients in a blender: eggs, sugar, oil (or melted butter), and milk until smooth and well combined.
Add the dry ingredients gradually while blending until the batter is fully incorporated.
Fold in the baking powder gently using a spoon or spatula.
Bake the batter in the prepared pan for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool the cake slightly before removing from the pan. Serve plain or dusted with powdered sugar.
