Ingredients:
- 500g (17.6 oz) of cassava
- 300g (10.5 oz) of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 + ½ tablespoons (22g / 0.8 oz) of butter
- Parsley, chives, cilantro, or seasonings to taste
Directions:
Wash, peel, and boil the cassava until it becomes very soft. Transfer the cooked cassava to a bowl, add the butter, and mash well until you get a smooth purée.
Season to taste and mix in the parsley, chives, or cilantro. Continue mashing until a moldable dough forms.
Take small portions of the dough, add some mozzarella cheese inside, and seal well. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry until golden brown.
Place the savory on a paper towel to remove excess oil and serve warm with mayonnaise or your favorite dipping sauce.
