How to Make Fluffy Sweet Potato Bread

Easy recipe with lots of flavor, perfect for your morning. See below the list of all ingredients and required quantities. And then, a very complete preparation method with details of the recipe.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 cup of powdered milk
  • 1 cup of sweet potato (1 large sweet potato)
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • Salt (to taste)

Instructions:

Start by adding water and the sweet potato to a pot and cook on high heat until the potato is soft. Once cooked, remove the sweet potato from the pot and mash it with a fork until it reaches a puree consistency.

In a bowl, add the eggs and beat well with a fork. Add the sweet potato puree, olive oil, and mix to combine the ingredients.

Add the powdered milk, salt, and baking powder to the mixture. Mix well until you form a smooth and homogeneous dough.

Use a spoon to remove portions of dough, shape the bread into the desired shape and place it on a baking tray (greased and floured).

Preheat the oven to 200°C (about 390°F) and bake for approximately 10 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Remove from the oven, allow them to cool slightly, and serve for an afternoon snack or breakfast.
