How to Make Chocolate Cake

Easy Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting. See below the list of all ingredients and required quantities. And then, a very complete preparation method with details of the recipe.

Ingredients for the Cake:

  • 1 cup of cocoa powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour (wheat flour)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

Ingredients for the Frosting:

  • 200 grams/7.05 oz of heavy cream
  • 1 bar of milk chocolate (300 grams/10.5 oz)

Preparation Method:

Start by adding all the cake ingredients, except the baking powder, to a blender and blend well for about 2 to 3 minutes (or until you have a homogeneous batter).

Then, add the baking powder and blend again just to incorporate the ingredients.

Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake in a preheated oven (180ºC/350ºF) for about 30 to 35 minutes (or until golden brown).

Preparation Method for the Frosting:

Place all the frosting ingredients in a saucepan, heat over low heat, and stir until it starts to boil.

After that, continue stirring for another 4 to 5 minutes, then remove the cake from the oven.

Finally, pour the frosting over the cake, let it cool, and it’s ready to serve.
