How to Make Peanut Butter

Learn how to prepare for snacks or breakfast step-by-step recipes inspired by top online culinary schools. Whether you’re an aspiring chef or just love gourmet cooking at home, these professional recipe ideas are perfect for busy days and high-quality meals.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 18 ounces (500 grams) of unsalted roasted peanuts

Instructions:

If the peanuts are not roasted, spread them on a baking sheet and place them in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are lightly golden and aromatic.

Place the roasted peanuts in a food processor. Turn the processor on and let the peanuts grind. Initially, they will become a coarse meal. Continue processing, scraping down the sides of the processor as needed.

As the peanuts process, they will start to release their natural oils and the mixture will turn into a creamy paste. This can take between 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the power of your processor.

Transfer the peanut butter to a clean, dry glass jar with a lid. Store it in the refrigerator for longer shelf life.

Tips and Suggestions:

  1. If you prefer sweeter peanut butter, you can add some honey or sugar to taste during processing.
  2. For saltier peanut butter, add a pinch of salt.
  3. If you prefer a crunchier texture, reserve a handful of chopped peanuts and mix them into the paste at the end of processing.

Recipe ingredients: 1 cup (120g / 4.2 oz) of all-purpose flour/wheat flour 1 egg 1 tablespoon (14g / 0.5 oz) of butter ½ cup (120ml / 4 oz) of milk Salt to taste 1 teaspoon (5g / 0.18 oz) of baking powder Filling Suggestions (to taste): Shredded chicken Cream cheese or soft requeijão Sliced cheese (You may also use ham, vegetables, or your favorite ingredients) Instructions: Prepare the batter: In a bowl, mix the egg, milk, and melted butter until well blended. Then add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until you have a smooth, thick batter. Grease a non-stick skillet, then pour in half the batter and spread it evenly with a spatula. Add the filling: Place your preferred fillings (like shredded chicken, cream cheese, and sliced cheese) on top of the batter. Then cover with the remaining batter, spreading it to seal the filling.
