How to make Delicious Orange Cake

A light, flavorful dessert suitable for dietary restrictions: orange cake without milk or wheat flour. You don’t need to go to a nearby restaurant or nearby food place. Here you find Pretty food, Meal prep and without having to buy online cooking classes.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Eggs
  • 3 Oranges (peeled and seedless)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar (10.5 oz or approximately 300 grams)
  • 1 cup fine cornmeal (200 ml)
  • 1 cup cornstarch (200 ml)
  • 1/2 cup oil (approximately 3.4 fl oz or 100 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (approximately 0.5 oz or 14 grams)

Directions:

Preparing the Oranges
First, peel and prepare the oranges. Slice them into wedges and remove all the seeds. Choose ripe oranges to enhance the flavor.

Mixing the Liquid Ingredients
Next, blend the liquid ingredients. Place the orange wedges, eggs, and oil in a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and consistent.

Then, add the sugar and continue blending until it is fully dissolved, and the mixture is homogeneous.

Incorporating the Dry Ingredients
After that, add the dry ingredients. You can add the cornmeal and cornstarch directly to the blender or mix them in a separate bowl before combining them with the liquid mixture.

Lastly, gently fold in the baking powder until well incorporated.

Preparing the Glass Dish
Next, prepare the glass dish. Grease it with margarine or a non-stick spray and sprinkle sugar evenly across the surface. For a special touch, you can add a pinch of cinnamon to create an aromatic crust.

Baking the Cake
Afterward, pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake in a preheated oven at 356 °F (180 °C) for about 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Finishing
Finally, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before removing it from the dish to prevent breaking.
