When mixed with pasta, such as spaghetti or penne, it creates a perfect combination of textures and flavors. Remembering that we will start by listing all the ingredients, so start by separating all the ingredients and then the complete preparation method.
Ingredients
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 2 ½ tablespoons pesto
- 1 (16 ounce) package pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
First fill a large saucepan with salted water and bring to the boil. Then add the pasta and bring to the boil again. Then cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until tender but firm to the bite, about 8 to 10 minutes. Then drain and place in a large bowl.
Then, in the meantime, heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Then add the onion; cook and stir until softened, about 3 minutes. Now add the pesto, salt and pepper until heated through.
Finally add the pesto mixture to the hot pasta; add the grated cheese and stir well to coat.
