How to make Spanish Flan
This creamy and indulgent treat is appreciated for its smooth texture and delicate caramel flavor. Remembering that we will start by listing all the ingredients, so start by separating all the ingredients and then the complete preparation method.
Ingredients
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Directions
First start by heating the oven to 175°C (350°F).
Then melt the sugar in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat until it is liquefied and golden brown. Then carefully pour the hot syrup into a 9-inch round glass baking dish, turning the dish to evenly coat the bottom and sides; set aside.
Then beat the eggs in a large bowl. Then add the condensed milk, evaporated milk and vanilla; beat until smooth. Pour the egg mixture into the baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
Finally, bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour. Then leave to cool completely.
When serving, carefully invert onto a serving plate with a rim; let the caramel syrup drip over the pudding.
