Directions:
Preparation of the Scalding Liquid: First, in a medium-sized pan, add the water, oil, and milk. Heat over medium heat until it starts to boil. As soon as it reaches boiling point, turn off the heat immediately to prevent overflow.
Scalding the Starch: Then, place the starch in a large bowl. Next, carefully pour the boiling mixture over it, stirring continuously with a spatula until the liquid is fully absorbed. After that, let the mixture cool for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Adding Eggs and Salt: Afterward, add the eggs one by one to the cooled dough, mixing well until a uniform consistency is achieved. Soon after, add the salt and continue mixing until fully incorporated.
Incorporating the Cheese: Finally, add the grated cheese to the dough and knead with your hands for about 5 minutes, ensuring the cheese is well distributed.
Preparing for Shaping: To make shaping easier, lightly grease your hands with oil.
Shaping the Cheese Breads: Lastly, form small balls of approximately 40 g each. Arrange them on a baking sheet, leaving enough space between them to prevent sticking during baking.
Baking: Finishing up, place in a preheated oven at 356 °F (180 °C) and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown. Baking time may vary depending on the oven used.
