Meal Prep: Chocolate Dessert

Learn how to prepare for quick and easy dessert step-by-step recipes inspired by top online culinary schools. Whether you’re an aspiring chef or just love gourmet cooking at home, these professional recipe ideas are perfect for busy days and high-quality meals.

Recipe ingredients:

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (395g / 14 oz)
  • 200g semi-sweet chocolate, chopped (about 7 oz)
  • 1 cup cocoa powder

Instructions:

Place the chopped semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.

Add the sweetened condensed milk to the melted chocolate. Stir thoroughly until you have a silky, fully combined mixture.

Add ½ cup of cocoa powder, stirring until smooth. Then add the remaining ½ cup, mixing again until the mixture is completely homogeneous and thick.

Line a glass dish or container with plastic wrap, pour in the mixture, and smooth the surface. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, or until firm enough to slice.

Once chilled, lift the dessert out using the plastic wrap, dust the top with extra cocoa powder, cut into squares, and enjoy!
