Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour (10.6 ounces) – (300 g)
- 3/4 cup of warm milk (7 fluid ounces) – (200 ml)
- 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil (2 teaspoons) – (10 ml)
- 1 tablespoon of yogurt (0.7 ounces) – (20 g)
- 1 heaping tablespoon of bread yeast (0.9 ounces) – (25 g)
- 1 teaspoon of sugar (1 teaspoon) – (5 g)
- 1 teaspoon of salt (1 teaspoon) – (5 g)
Directions:
First, add the sugar, salt, vegetable oil, and yogurt to a glass bowl. Stir well until everything is fully combined. Then, pour in the warm milk and mix again until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
Next, add the flour and yeast to the mixture. Use a spoon to stir until a sticky dough forms. After that, knead the dough with your hands until it becomes smooth and no longer sticks to your fingers.
Let the dough rest for about 20 minutes so it can rise and become fluffier. During this time, it should double in size due to the action of the yeast.
Then, knead the dough again and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and place them on a floured surface.
Roll out each ball with a rolling pin until they are thin and round. Set them aside and cover with a damp cotton cloth to prevent them from drying out.
Grease a glass baking dish with oil and flour, or line it with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 482 °F (250 °C) for 15 minutes. Then, bake the bread for about 6 minutes, or until lightly golden.
