How to Make Simple and Quick Pie

This recipe is perfect for lunch, an afternoon snack, or dinner. You don’t need to go to nearby restaurant or nearby food place. Here you find Pretty food, Meal prep and without having to buy online cooking classes.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams (17.6 ounces) of all-purpose flour (wheat flour)
  • 200 grams (7.05 ounces) of margarine
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 egg

Filling Options:

  • Chicken with cream cheese
  • Ground beef with olives
  • Shrimp with Catupiry (cream cheese)
  • Spinach and ricotta
  • Palm hearts with cream

Instructions:

Place all the dough ingredients (flour, margarine, salt, and egg) into a bowl. Gradually add cold water while mixing with a spoon until you form a dough.

Knead the dough with your hands until it no longer sticks to your hands. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

After chilling, use a rolling pin to roll the dough thin. Divide the dough into two parts.

Place one part of the dough into a baking dish, pressing to cover the bottom and sides completely. Add the filling of your choice.

Cover the filling with the remaining dough, sealing the edges well.

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the empadão for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until it turns golden brown.

Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve at your preferred time.
