How to make Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:
For the Cake:
- 2 cups (240g / 8.5 oz) of all-purpose flour/wheat flour
- 1 cup (200g / 7 oz) of sugar
- 1 cup (90g / 3.2 oz) of chocolate powder
- ¾ cup (180ml / 6 oz) of hot water
- ¾ cup (180ml / 6 oz) of vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon (12g / 0.4 oz) of baking powder
For the Chocolate Syrup:
- 1 tablespoon (14g / 0.5 oz) of unsalted butter
- 6 tablespoons (54g / 1.9 oz) of chocolate powder
- ½ cup (100g / 3.5 oz) of sugar
- 1 ¼ cups (300ml / 10 oz) of milk
Directions:
Making the Cake:
In a blender, combine the eggs, oil, hot water, sugar, and chocolate powder.
Blend for 2 minutes until smooth and well mixed.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and gradually add the sifted flour, stirring with a whisk after each addition.
Finally, add the baking powder and gently mix with a spoon.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured 12×8 inch (30×20 cm) baking pan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 35-40 minutes.
Remove from the oven, cut into squares, and poke small holes in the cake with a fork.
Preparing the Chocolate Syrup:
In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, chocolate powder, and butter.
Stir well and heat over medium heat until it starts boiling. Let it simmer for 4 more minutes, then remove from heat.
Pour the hot syrup over the warm cake. Your amazing chocolate cake is ready to enjoy!
